Is The MisterChef Professional Food Mixer A Good Fit For Your Kitchen?
The MisterChef Professional Food Mixer is sold as a “modern” device, but there is a lot in the design that is instantly familiar and almost retro.
The off-white colour with the metal band has a classic look and the shape and motion of the mixer are like a lot of other models.
There is the sense that new users should be able to get started with ease. But, does this machine do enough for them?

The Pros and Cons of this MisterChef Stand Mixer.
Pros:
- The familiar, almost retro design of this machine
- The easy-to-use settings and accessories
- Different features and speeds for various needs
Cons:
- Some of the selling points are oversold
- The lack of a handle, decent splash guard and spatula could be an issue
The MisterChef Professional Food Mixer ticks a lot of familiar boxes for a first-time kitchen mixer.
When it comes to mixing up cake mixes, batters and other products, this machine does a pretty good job. There are the standard 6 speed settings that you can choose with ease via the dial on the side.
This should help you find the ideal option to go with the different accessories. You get a beater, whisk and dough hook here – not a spatula – and users say that they are pretty easy to attach.
The whole machine appears to be easy to use, with those attachment points, the locking level for the arm on the side, the non-slid rubber feet on the bottom, and the wide stainless steel bowl.
The dishwasher safe elements and the LED light around the speed dial are nice touches too.
The potential issue here is that this MisterChef “Super Large” Food Mixer might be more simplistic than advertised.
On concern here is that this kitchen machine is trying to promote itself as being better than it really is. For example, the stainless steel bowl is said to be “super large” at 5.5 litres. But, this isn’t that much bigger than typical 5 litre options and 6 litre bowls aren’t unheard of.
There is also the notion that the compact “modern” design is “unlike other alternatives in the market today”. But, the shape is actually pretty standard.
There are also comments from users about how simplistic the design is, with no handle on the bowl and a pretty flimsy splashguard.
Is the MisterChef Professional Stand Mixer still recommendable with all this in mind?
In the end, while this machine does a lot of things that you would expect, it doesn’t go any further. The functionality is familiar with those speed settings, attachments and the capacity on the mixing bowl.
Those that need a standard option with just enough features to get started shouldn’t have a problem here. It does that basic mixing job well. Those that want something with a bit more flair or a clever selling point could be disappointed.
Either way, it is difficult to criticise this MisterChef stand mixer too harshly and it could still work well in a lot of homes.
